Drop off between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.
Camp activities between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Pick up between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00p.m.
Performance for family and friends Fridays at 5:00.
Fill your child's summer with laughter and fun at the Dance Connection's Performing Arts Day Camp. Each day children take classes in dancing, music, singing, acting, arts & crafts and create a short musical production to present to family and friends at the end of the week. This camp is run by David Kieffer (dance & theatre), Doreen Lorenzetti (arts & crafts) and Cory Pinto (music & singing). We hope you will join us this summer for this fun and creative camp.

Camp Activities
Circle Time - This is educational time. Children and teachers discuss dance, theatre and music related topics which could include theatre history, art history, music education, anatomy, or specific musicians, dancers or theatre personalities.
Dance Technique Class - This ballet oriented class helps to warm the kids up for their day. Instructor uses a mix of traditional ballet music and popular music.
Jazz/Theatre Dance Class - This class features music and movement from poplular musicals as well as traditional jazz dance steps.
Art/painting Class - Children learn about basic conventions of painting visual arts and scene construction.
Scenery Time - During this time children help to put together and paint the scenery for the end of the week show.
Singing Class - Children are taken through a series of age appropriate exercises which help improve their breathing, posture and pitch.
Music Class - Students use props and simple musical instruments to learn about rhythm, pitch and music theory.
Rehearsal - Children work on choreography and staging for the end of the week show.
Stretching/Yoga - This class usually meets at the end of the day to relax and focus the children before going home.
